News and updates

January 2024:

 1) Our manuscript, "Transition to anomalous dynamics in a simple random map"  has been accepted for publication in Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science and is tentatively scheduled for publication in the February, 2024 issue!

2) I passed my preliminary examinations in Calculus, Linear Algebra and ODEs: the first requirement of my PhD program!

August 2023: I started my PhD at the Applied Mathematics Department at the University of California, Merced. I will be jointly advised by Dr. Suzanne Sindi and Dr. Tomas Rube

April 2023: I travelled to Plön, Germany to participate in the Theoretical Methodology Symposium on modelling antimicrobial resistance at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology!

Projects and Experience

I studied the development of antibiotic resistance in a bacterial population consisting of several phenotypes. This work was a part of my undergraduate thesis while I was a visiting student at Dartmouth College. I presented this work as a poster at the Theoretical Methodology Symposium at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, and as a contributed talk at CompleNet Live 2022

London Mathematical Laboratory
