I am a Computer Engineering PhD candidate at Northeastern University, Boston and also a member of the NU Wireless Networking and Systems (NU WiNS) Lab. Currently I am advised by Dr. Dimitrios Koutsonikolas and my research interests lie in experimental wireless networking and mobile systems. My recent work revolves around studying the capabilities and constraints of 5G networks and their impact on high-bandwidth low-latency applications such as mobile augmented reality (AR), connected autonomous vehicles (CAV), etc.
I am originally from Kolkata, India and I completed my B.Tech in Information Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology) in 2017. Prior to transferring to Northeastern University in January 2021, I was a PhD student at the University at Buffalo, advised by Dr. Dimitrios Koutsonikolas. Apart from academia, I have a two year experience in working at Keysight Technologies as an R&D Engineer. My updated CV can be found here.
