Wheel Loader in SolidWorks
This project involved designing a detailed 3D model of a Wheel Loader using SolidWorks, starting from 2D sketches and progressing through advanced modeling techniques. I developed key components such as the chassis, loader arms, bucket, and wheels using features like extrude, revolve, fillet, and assembly tools. The components were integrated into a complete assembly, for which I produced both exploded views and assembly drawings to clearly convey fit and function. A motion study was conducted to simulate the loader arm and bucket movement, demonstrating the mechanical functionality of the assembly. The project also included the creation of professional shop drawings to communicate design specifications. To enhance presentation quality, I used SolidWorks Visualize to produce high-resolution renderings of the assembled model. This project demonstrates my skills in SolidWorks for both mechanical design and visual communication, with a focus on accuracy, design intent, and efficient part organization.Â
