Short Bio
Mohsen Saffari received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems from Shahroud University of Technology in 2014 and K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa, USA, in July 2024. Since Aug 2024, he started his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University Northwest (PNW). His research focuses on the development of trustworthy and application-driven machine learning algorithms for complex systems, with particular emphasis on power systems and intelligent transportation systems.
