Senior NPU Design Engineer @ Omnivision | PhD student @ LSP Research Group

About Me

I am a Senior NPU Design Engineer at Omnivision Technologies, where I am primarily working on the architecture and design of AI accelerator targeting camera sensors at the edge.

I am was a PhD student at the department of Computer Science in the School of Computing at National University of Singapore, where I was a part of the LSP Group under Prof. Li-Shiuan Peh. My research interests revolve around edge accelerators and system design for neural networks, reconfigurable architectures and on-chip network based accelerators.

I interned at Xilinx Research Labs Asia Pacific, Singapore (now acquired by AMD) in summer 2020. Prior to joining NUS, I interned at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) at Bangalore in the Microprocessor Performance Modelling and Architecture team.

History

I completed my dual degree Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Masters in Physics from BITS, Pilani in 2019. Previously, I was also fortunate enough to work at HESL Lab at NTU, Singapore.

Other interests

My interests vary widely from Computer Science, Electronics to History and Music. I enjoy playing on my guitar from time to time and I am always up for a good badminton game. I like watching historical documentaries and do enjoy working out some times. Feel free to drop by to say hi!!
