Mohit Mishra was born in the year 1992 in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India. He received B.Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Central University of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India, in 2014. He completed his M.S. [Engineering] and Ph.D. degrees both from the department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in 2017 and 2023, respectively. Currently, he is working as a SERB National Post-doctoral Fellow in Dr. Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary's research group at Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. His research interests include Printed MIMO Antennas and Dielectric Resonator Antennas for MIMO applications. Currently, he is working on mmWave antennas. He has authored or co-authored 22 research publications. He is a recipient of the URSI Young Scientist Award, 2024, and COMSNETS Fellowship, 2021. From May 2018 to July 2019, he was the chair of the IEEE Student Branch at IIT Guwahati. During this tenure, the IEEE Kolkata Section's Best Student Branch Activity Award was presented to the IEEE Student Branch, IIT Guwahati, at the IEEE TENSYMP-2019 meeting in Kolkata, India. He previously held key positions in the Students Gymkhana Council, including Chairperson of the Students Senate and Vice-President of the Students Gymkhana Council of IIT Guwahati. He is also an active member of the IEEE APS Society. He has been an organizing committee member (Co-Chair, Publicity & Social Media) of the IEEE Microwave Antenna and Propagation Conference (MAPCON) 2022, organized in Bengaluru, India.
