Kilo Flight is a formula student racing car team of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh, formed with some automobile enthusiasts in November 2018. In their first competition in Formula Student UK 2020, they placed 50th position out of 57. The team participated in 2021, and within just a year, the team managed to get into the 33rd position out of 57 teams. The team now has a fully functional car. The team is now working hard to complete their car for Formula Student UK and Formula student Japan competitions in 2023.
When I first joined the team, I started as a member of the steering suspension system. Together with my team, we had to start from scratch and put in a lot of hard work. After two years of dedication and hard work, we were able to successfully develop a fully functional steering and suspension system. However, our team is still in its early stages, and there is much more work to be done.
I was appointed as the Deputy Captain just before our team's first competition, and I eventually participated in the last competition as the Captain. However, my journey as both the deputy and captain were far from easy. I had to work hard to maintain a good team combination and ensure smooth integration. In addition to my technical expertise, my experience with Kilo Flight has also taught me valuable lessons in project management and teamwork. As the deputy of a 50-member team, I have also developed my leadership skills.
After joining as a lecturer at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, I became a faculty advisor of Team Kilo Flight. I'm doing my best to share my knowledge and support the current team. I'm proud to be a part of this exceptional team, and I look forward to continuing to help them grow and develop.
