Dr. Mohendra Roy is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), India. He previously held a postdoctoral position from 2017 to 2019 at the Delta-NTU Corporate Laboratory for Cyber-Physical Systems at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Information Engineering from Korea University, South Korea, in 2016. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Engineering Assistant at Indian Oil Corporation Limited between 2009 and 2011, following a stint as a Project Engineer at IIT Guwahati from 2008 to 2009. His achievements include receiving the Graduate Achievement Award from Korea University for his doctoral research, an Outstanding Paper Award from the Korean Biochip Society, second prize at the Young Scientist Conference (IISF 2020), awarded by the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology, an IEEE Seoul Student Paper Award, and a Gold Medal from Tezpur Central University for the best graduate.

Short Bio: Chintan Panchal is a Fellow at E-Infochips (former Associate Director of Samsung Semiconductor), having more than 24 years of Experience in Chip Design and verification (ASIC/VLSI) in the semiconductor industry. He has been part of many ASIC/SOC developments with organizations like eInfochips, Samsung, Mediatek, Broadcom, and Intel in different countries. With rich hands-on experience in ASIC development life cycles – RTL design, DV -Verification, Physical Design, and DFT Design for Test on projects in technology 3nm, 5nm, 7nm, 16nm, 28nm, and more for consumer, networking, processor, IPs, and servers’ applications SoCs.
He has worked on a wide range of EDA tools, including Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics. Namely – Tessent, DFTultra, DFTmax, TetraMAX, VCS, Questa, IUS, Primetime. He has completed 9 onsite client projects across multiple threads and sites, 35+ offshore projects without any client escalations, and has secured repeat business. He has experience in Offshore- Onsite engineering execution model with delivering on time, quality, and exceeding customers' expectations, and an excellent understanding of the client’s requirements and project requirements. During his career, he has worked as an individual contributor as well as played a Lead and managerial role.
Chintan Panchal has won several awards and accolades, including eI ROCKS (Best employee of the year) twice, along with numerous customer appreciations. Published more than 12 papers and articles in national and international forums.

Short Bio: Mintu Dutta is an Associate Director (AI/ Vision and Automation) at Samsung Semiconductor India Research, Bengaluru, with over 17 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing automation and advanced diagnostics. He has played a key role in improving manufacturing yield through innovative, data-driven solutions and large-scale process optimization initiatives. In his leadership role, Mintu has successfully handled and mentored multiple cross-functional teams, driving end-to-end execution of complex projects from concept to deployment. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, reflecting a strong foundation in both fundamental science and applied engineering. Mintu has also contributed to industrial research, including the development of a patented method for wafer image generation. Passionate about innovation, people development, and organizational growth, he combines strategic leadership with deep domain insight. He is currently pursuing a PhD program in PDEU under the guidance of Dr. Mohendra Roy in the area of Self-Supervised Learning.
