Drawing from the vibrant landscapes of Maloora HMT, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, and fueled by a passion for innovation, comes the story of Mohd Rafiq Parray.
A mechanical engineering enthusiast from the start, Rafiq embarked on a journey of academic excellence, earning his B.Tech from NIMS University Jaipur, Rajasthan. His ambition, however, led him back to the breathtaking valleys of Kashmir to pursue a master's degree in Mechanical System Design at the esteemed National Institute of Technology Srinagar.
Rafiq's professional path is a testament to his dedication to research. He has contributed his expertise as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu and even spent time as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Today, he continues his academic quest as a Ph.D. scholar at IIT Jammu, where his groundbreaking research is focused on the fascinating world of Additive Manufacturing of Functional Materials.
Beyond his research, Rafiq is driven by a profound desire to give back to his community. Like many great minds, he believes in the power of knowledge sharing and mentorship. As a volunteer, he tirelessly works to guide and inspire the next generation of students in his home region.
