My name is Dr. Mohammad AlAhmad, and I am a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Greenwich. I hold a PhD in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Portsmouth, along with MSc degrees in Finance and in Accounting & Financial Management. I have also worked as a financial planning and analysis consultant with Oliver Wyman Group, alongside experience in the banking sector.
My academic and professional journey reflects a consistent commitment to integrating Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) into higher education. During my PhD, I developed skills in Python, STATA, and machine learning, applying them to the analysis of corporate risk disclosure. Since then, I have led the embedding of Bloomberg, STATA, Microsoft Sway, and Qlik into my teaching, linking data analytics with employability outcomes.
At Greenwich, I lead modules including Introduction to Management Accounting, Business Analytics I, and Personal and Professional Development (PPD). I mentor students in digital literacy, employability, and financial analysis, while also supporting colleagues through CPD, digital resource development, and TEL mentoring.
I am applying for Associate CMALT to consolidate recognition of my leadership in TEL. I aim to continue aligning pedagogical innovation with institutional strategies, champion inclusivity, and mentor colleagues in adopting sustainable and evidence-based digital practices.
