Mohammad Akbari

Mohammad is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University. He completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Professors Bahman Gharesifard and Tamas Linder at Queen's University. He obtained his B.Sc. degree both in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Isfahan University of Technology, as well as an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Queen's University. 

Mohammad's research primarily focuses on the intersection of control theory, machine learning, optimization theory, and network sciences. He has a particular interest in merging theoretical tools from machine learning and control theory to design and analyze algorithms for learning optimal policies to steer unknown control systems.
