Responsibilities:

• Support development and evaluation of new shipbuilding projects including electrical system & automation design, selection of electrical and auxiliary machinery, equipment arrangements, design of electrical switchgears and boards, electrical load analysis, short circuit analysis, etc.

• Perform engineering analysis, participate in design reviews and develop tests procedures to ensure design requirements are met and verified.

• Conduct equipment inspections, survey and evaluate equipment condition and performance, including supplier quality inspections.

• Develop and evaluate deck, engine room and accommodation arrangements when it is required.

• Liaise with design consultant, owner's representative, classification surveyor, production, suppliers, etc. on all engineering matters.

• Prepare technical reports and presentation and specifications for purchase of materials & equipment
