Description: I worked on Artificial intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud, and Data (ABCD) Project. My goal of the research is to analyze healthcare data (medical images and EHR) from various sources to facilitate clinical workflow effectively. With a team of researchers, we developing digital healthcare applications related to the following topics:AI in imaging informatics, Computational algorithms for medical imaging modalities, Healthcare data management, mHealth and telemedicine. I am also responsible for recruiting researcher, MS and PhD students for laboratory projects (2021 – 2022). As of now successfully recruited two researchers and one MS/PhD student for the projects in our laboratory. In addition, I am responsible for progress reporting to the Korea Research Foundation and writing project proposals (2014–2022).
Researcher, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea. 03/03/2014 –28/08/2020INFONET Laboratory, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Description: I worked as research fellow while pursuing my master’s and Ph.D., degree in the laboratory of Professor Heung-No Lee. Responsible for the projects of intelligent signal restoration and classification systems specialized on biomedical signal, Coding theoretic compressive sensing for multiple sensor systems and Scalable decentralized security ECCPoW blockchain.1) My role in these projects is to perform research on medical image processing using mathematical models, algorithms and technologies such as compressive sensing, sparse representations, machine learning and blockchain for healthcare applications (computerized diagnosis of liver cancer, reconstructing ultrasound images with high signal to noise ratio, and multimodal image management).2) Shared responsibility for progress reporting to Korea Research Foundation.3) Shared responsibility for team management including supervision of undergraduate and intern students.4) Shared responsibility for writing new project proposals.Key achievements: Published three journal articles, one conference proceeding, and presented in five international conference presentations.
Teaching Assistant, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea. 01/09/2018 – 30/08/2019School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Description: 1) Assisted in the delivery of classes in algorithms and compressive sensing and its applications. 2) Assisted with the delivery of programming classes, and tutorials. 3) Graded student reports, examination papers and presentations.
