I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Iowa State University. My research focuses on macroeconomic development, with a particular emphasis on Sub‑Saharan Africa (SSA). I study how institutions shape economic environments and influence long‑run development outcomes.
My current work examines:
Structural transformation and adoption of agricultural technology
Property rights and demographic behavior
Property rights and rural–urban migration
Growing up in rural SSA informs the questions I pursue and motivates my commitment to understanding the region’s development challenges.
I am currently on the job market and available for interviews.
