Howdy! I'm Naveed. 

I obtained my Ph.D. in aerospace engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.

I worked on optimal control and reinforcement learning for nonlinear dynamical systems in my dissertation. I have previously worked on developing reconstruction algorithms for synthetic aperture radars, system identification, and filtering for distributed state estimation. I was also involved in building the navigation stack for an autonomous warehouse vehicle. 

Currently, I am an Applied Scientist at Amazon Robotics. 

Simply put, I like to develop solutions to make smarter and more efficient systems. My younger self used to call it 'inducing life into machines' :)
