Research Interests: Arithmetic geometry • Algebraic and computational number theory • Rational points and Brauer–Manin obstructions • Arithmetic of elliptic and hyperelliptic curves

Current work: Ranks of Jacobians of higher-genus curves via explicit descent methods and algebraic number theory.

Developing directions: Mathematical Cryptography, currently finite-field and elliptic-curve cryptography, working toward post-quantum and zero-knowledge cryptography.
