Mohamad Alagheband is a skilled mechanical engineer with over seven years of experience in mechanical design, simulations, and manufacturing optimization. He specializes in designing components such as bearings, gears, and fasteners, with expertise in structural integrity, crashworthiness, and compliance with ASME standards (B31.1 and Section VIII).
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Florida State University (expected Summer 2025), Mohamad’s research focuses on structural integrity and crashworthiness analysis using advanced FEA tools like LS-DYNA and ABAQUS. His professional background includes leading manufacturing teams in the oil and gas industry, developing ASME-compliant welding procedures, and conducting stress and fatigue evaluations to improve product performance.
Proficient in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, CATIA) and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB), Mohamad is committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance manufacturability and meet industry standards. He is also an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification holder and actively pursuing his PE license.
