This Privacy Policy explains how MOG ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Richard DeBanks, collects, uses, and protects information you provide when using the MOG mobile application (the "App"). By using MOG, you agree to the practices described below. Section 3 ("Face Data") explains in detail how the App collects, uses, shares, stores, and retains face data.
MOG is rated 9+ and is intended for users aged 9 and older. Users under the age of 13 (or under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction — for example, 16 in parts of the EU/UK) may only use the App with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a child under that age to use the App, the parent or legal guardian represents that they have read this Privacy Policy, consent to the practices described here on the child's behalf, and accept responsibility for the child's use of the App. If we learn that we have collected information from a child without the required parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has used the App without their consent may email snapit.foranything@gmail.com to request review and deletion.
MOG is designed for self-analysis. Before performing any face analysis, you are required to confirm in-app that:
The photo you upload is of yourself, or of someone who has given you explicit consent to be analyzed
You will not use MOG to rate, compare, or judge other people without their consent
You understand the App's results are subjective style recommendations, not absolute judgments
You bear full responsibility for any photo you upload. Do not upload photos of any person who has not consented.
This section provides a complete and detailed explanation of how MOG handles face data, in accordance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines 5.1.1(i), 5.1.2(i), and 5.1.2.
What face data we collect.
We collect only the photographic image (a still photo) that you choose to submit for analysis using the camera or your photo library. We do NOT capture, generate, or store a faceprint, face template, face mesh, face geometry vector, biometric identifier, embedding, or any other mathematical representation of your face. We do NOT use Apple's ARKit face tracking, Vision face landmark APIs, on-device face recognition, or any biometric identification technology. The only "face data" involved is the image itself, plus the textual analysis output (scores and written recommendations) generated from that image.
In-app disclosure and consent before any photo is sent.
Before MOG sends your photo to a third-party AI service for the first time, the App displays a consent screen that (a) discloses exactly what data will be sent (your photo and nothing else — no name, email, contacts, location, or other personal information), (b) names who it will be sent to (Rork AI, our third-party AI analysis provider), (c) explains how it will be used (only to generate your analysis result), and (d) explains how it is protected (HTTPS, no model training, deletion within 24 hours). You must tick two separate consent checkboxes — one confirming the photo is of you or someone who has consented, and one giving explicit permission to send the photo to Rork AI — and then tap Continue before the App will transmit anything. If you do not consent, no photo is ever sent. The consent screen also links directly to this Privacy Policy.
How we use face data.
The submitted photo is used for the single purpose of generating your facial-aesthetics analysis (e.g. symmetry, proportion, jawline, skin, and other category scores, plus written recommendations) and any optional follow-up analyses you choose to run by tapping the corresponding button (Debloat, MogMax, SmileMax). Optional follow-up analyses are user-initiated only — they never run automatically in the background. The photo is sent over HTTPS to our analysis provider, processed once per analysis to produce the textual analysis result, and then discarded by the provider. We do NOT use your photo or any data derived from it to: (a) train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine-learning model; (b) identify, recognize, authenticate, or track you or any other individual across sessions, devices, or services; (c) build advertising profiles; (d) target ads; or (e) for any purpose unrelated to producing the analysis you requested.
Sharing of face data with third parties.
The submitted photo is shared with exactly one third-party processor — our AI analysis provider, Rork AI — and only for the purpose of generating your analysis result. Rork AI processes the image, returns the analysis text to the App, and does not retain the image after processing. We do NOT share, sell, license, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your photo, your analysis results, or any face data to any other third party, advertiser, data broker, marketing partner, social network, or analytics provider. We do NOT share face data with Apple, RevenueCat, Expo, or any other vendor mentioned in Section 5.
Where face data is stored.
In transit: photos travel from your device to Rork AI over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher).
On Rork AI's servers (United States): the photo exists only transiently in memory / temporary storage during processing and is deleted immediately after the analysis response is returned (typically within seconds, and in any case within 24 hours).
On your device: a thumbnail of the photo and the resulting analysis text are stored locally in the App's private AsyncStorage so you can revisit past scans. This local data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.
On our servers: we do NOT retain a server-side copy of your photo. Analysis results may be stored on our servers tied only to an anonymous device identifier for up to 12 months so you can view past results across reinstalls.
How long face data is retained.
Photos: deleted from our processing servers immediately after the analysis completes — typically within seconds, and never retained beyond 24 hours.
Locally stored thumbnails / results: retained on your device until you delete your account in-app, sign out, uninstall the App, or clear app data. Deleting your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account erases all locally stored photos, results, and identifiers from your device.
Server-side analysis results (text only, no photo): retained for up to 12 months tied to an anonymous device identifier, then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing snapit.foranything@gmail.com.

"MOG collects only the photo you submit for facial-aesthetics analysis. The photo is transmitted over HTTPS to our AI analysis provider (Rork AI), used solely to generate the analysis result, and deleted from the provider's servers immediately after processing (and in any case within 24 hours). We do not generate, store, or share faceprints, face templates, biometric identifiers, or face embeddings. We do not use face data to train AI models, to identify or recognize any individual, or for advertising. Photos are not shared with any third party other than Rork AI for the sole purpose of producing your analysis. A copy of the photo thumbnail and analysis text is stored locally on your device only, and is erased when you delete your account, sign out, or uninstall the App."
Analysis results. Recommendations and scores generated from your photo are stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage). They may also be stored on our servers tied to an anonymous device identifier so you can view past results.
Apple Sign-In data. If you sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque Apple user identifier and, on first sign-in only, the name and email address you choose to share (which may be Apple's private relay address). This is stored locally on your device and used only to keep you signed in. Deleting your account in-app removes this from the device.
Subscription and purchase data. When you subscribe to MOG Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store. We receive subscription status (active / inactive / trial / cancelled) via RevenueCat. We do NOT receive your payment card information.
Push notification token. If you opt in to notifications, we store an anonymous Expo push token to deliver reminders. You can disable this anytime in iOS Settings.
Device and usage information. Standard analytics: device model, OS version, app version, anonymous session identifiers, crash reports, and which features you use. No personally identifying information.
Consent attestation. Your acknowledgement of the self-only use requirement is stored locally on your device.

Rork AI — processes your photo to generate analysis. Photos transmitted over HTTPS, processed, and discarded.
Apple Sign in with Apple — used to authenticate you. Apple provides an opaque user identifier (and, on first sign-in, name and email if you choose to share them).
RevenueCat — manages subscription state. Receives anonymous user identifiers. No face data.
Apple App Store / In-App Purchase — processes subscription payments. No face data.
Expo Push Notifications — delivers optional reminders if you opt in. Receives an anonymous push token. No face data.
Expo / React Native infrastructure — used to build and update the App. No face data.
Equal-protection commitment. Each third party listed above is contractually required to handle any data we share with them under privacy and security protections that are equal to, or stronger than, those described in this Privacy Policy. Specifically, Rork AI — the only third party that receives your photo — is bound by written terms requiring it to: (a) use the photo only to generate the analysis result requested by you; (b) transmit the photo exclusively over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher); (c) refrain from retaining the photo beyond what is strictly necessary to return the analysis result, and in any case to delete it within 24 hours; (d) refrain from using the photo, or any data derived from it, to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model; (e) refrain from selling, sharing, licensing, or otherwise disclosing the photo to any further third party; and (f) refrain from using the photo to identify, recognize, or authenticate any individual. We do not share your photo with any other third party. Apple, RevenueCat, and Expo do not receive your photo or any face data at any time.
In transit: HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher).
At rest on device: AsyncStorage. Clear by deleting your account in-app or by uninstalling the App.
At rest on servers: Photos not retained after analysis. Analysis results may be tied to an anonymous device identifier.
Account deletion in the App. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deleting your account immediately:
Signs you out of Apple Sign-In on this device
Erases all locally stored data, including the Apple user identifier, photo thumbnails, analysis results, scan history, achievements, coins, settings, and the consent attestation
Detaches this installation from RevenueCat's anonymous identifier
Note: deleting your account in-app does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. To revoke MOG's access to your Apple ID, open iOS Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → MOG → Stop Using Apple ID.
Server-side deletion request. To request deletion of any server-side analysis records tied to your anonymous device identifier, email snapit.foranything@gmail.com with subject "Privacy Request — Delete My Data." We respond within 30 days.
Other rights. You may have the right to request a copy, deletion, correction, or restriction of your data; to object to processing; or to withdraw consent. Email snapit.foranything@gmail.com.
California (CCPA): You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing. We do NOT sell personal information.
EU/UK (GDPR): Legal basis for processing photos is your explicit consent. Legal basis for subscriptions is contractual necessity. Withdraw consent by deleting your account or uninstalling the App.
Photos: Deleted from our processing servers immediately after analysis (within seconds; never beyond 24 hours).
Analysis results: Local until you delete your account or uninstall. Server-side tied to anonymous device identifier for up to 12 months.
Apple Sign-In identifier: Local only; deleted when you delete your account, sign out, or uninstall.
Subscription records: Retained for active subscription, plus 7 years for tax purposes.
Crash reports / analytics: Up to 90 days, then anonymized or deleted.
MOG is rated 9+. The App is not directed at children under 9. For users under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction (under 13 in the United States under COPPA; under 16 in parts of the EU/UK under GDPR), use of the App requires verifiable parental or legal-guardian consent. We rely on the parent or guardian to confirm the child's age and to provide that consent before allowing the child to use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information (including photos) from a child in this age range without that consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please email snapit.foranything@gmail.com and we will delete the information promptly.
Information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
MOG Premium auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage in your Apple ID settings under Subscriptions.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
