Augmented and Virtual Reality
Other Forms of Media production
Augmented Reality
AR is the use of digital technology to alter our visual perception of the real world. We have used AR to age ourselves for the 100th day of school, observe dinosaurs and wild animals and explore the solar system. There's so many more possibilities!
Virtual Reality
Google Expedition Kits are now in our Innovation Lab! From Google: is an immersive education app that allows teachers and students to explore the world through over 1000 virtual-reality (VR) and 100 augmented-reality (AR) tours. You can swim with sharks, visit outer space, and more without leaving the classroom.
GREENSCREEN
Greenscreen is a green background in front of which moving subjects are filmed and which allows a separately filmed background or image to be added to the final creation.

Action Cameras
An action camera or action-cam is a digital camera designed for recording action while being immersed in it. Action cameras are therefore typically compact and rugged, and waterproof at surface-level. They typically can take photos in burst mode and time-lapse mode as well as record high-definition video. 360º Cameras
360-degree videos, also known as immersive videos or spherical videos, are video recordings where a view in every direction is recorded at the same time, shot using an omnidirectional camera or a collection of cameras (see more)
Digital artwork
Check out some examples of our Digital Artwork! We can take our digital artwork and place it into our productions. We can illustrate our digital stories, provide a background for journalism stories, and more! How will you use your digital art in the Media Hub?
