Modbus / Serial Monitor ("the App") is developed by SYNCLABS. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Information We Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data communicated with connected USB or Bluetooth serial devices remains local on your device and is never sent to any server.
Third-Party Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect device information and identifiers to serve personalized ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of personalized ads, you can adjust your device's ad settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
USB access — to communicate with connected serial devices
Bluetooth — to scan and connect to Bluetooth serial devices
Internet — required for displaying advertisements
No permission data is shared with third parties other than as described above.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
