30+ Places To Find Modest Dresses Online

Modest Clothing Stores Online
Finding modest clothing websites is oddly difficult. Why is it that I have had to read several blogs to find this comprehensive list of modest dress websites? Even now after all that research, I am still coming across other online shops and boutiques that Google hasn’t even found and listed in their search results. If the chart of modest dress sites I posted below has any stores missing, leave a comment and let me know and I will add them to the list.
Cheap Modest Clothing
One of the hardest things to swallow when finding specialty shops that cater only to women looking for modest dresses is that they often are a lot more expensive. That is why I have included a price range in the modest dress shop table. I found Amazon to have the broadest range of prices. Trendy Modest Clothing
The majority of the clothes sold by the stores on this chart I consider trendy. This is true with the caveat that if you consider showing off your body parts trendy then you are out of luck.
LDS Modest Clothing
I categorized the chart into two levels of modesty because there are so many different definitions of modesty. I put the level of “Christian Modesty Standard” at an LDS Mormon level because it was a midpoint between the average Christian and the Pentecostal Apostolic Christian. Though you can find all three levels in most of the stores listed the specific parameters were dresses that didn’t show bare shoulders, has a skirt that goes to the knee, at least a cap sleeve and no cleavage showing.
Modest Dresses For Church
The style levels I was shooting for was something that would be appropriate for church or work, so anywhere between casual, semi-formal and a subtle formal dress.
Modest Dresses With Sleeves
The percentage levels included in the “Christian Modesty Standard” were all dresses with sleeves even though some Christians don’t consider that a requirement for modesty.
Islamic Modest Dresses
I included a column for Islamic dresses in the chart because there were a few stores that did have some Islamic options. I will create a future post that lists only Islamic dresses so stay tuned.

Modest Dresses Utah
Even though its difficult to find a lot of online stores that sell modest clothing it’s not as hard as finding a real brick and mortar store that sells modest clothing in your hometown. Unless you live in the middle of Utah, stores that sell modest dresses are far an few between. Most local clothing stores don’t sell dresses and the ones that do only about 5% of those dresses are modest. That is why finding modest dresses online is important. The reason why the middle of Utah has more modest clothing stores is that it is the center of the greatest population of Mormons. Because there are so many members of the LDS church in Utah the demand for modest dresses is high and there are more Mormons who own the clothing stores there too.
