In 2007 she fell in love with plantation shutters, only to realise that shutters were costly and most of the retailers sold them with huge margins. So she made it her mission to make plantation shutters more affordable.

After months of research and trailing factories in China, she found a secure shutters factory, started importing and selling shutters to the market at half the price.

In 2008, she set up a factory in Coburg North that manufactured blinds so people could purchase directly from the factory for more savings and benefits.
