Why was this List created?

A lot of users are pretending to be parodies of Elon Musk. While we at Moderation Lists know that parodies are allowed in Bluesky, as long as it is clearly labeled as such, there are users who do not wish to see anything pertaining to Elon Musk.

Bluesky's Mute Words system can only mute strings within the post, but cannot mute usernames and/or Bluesky handles. Therefore this Moderation List is an option to help curating posts with more detail.

Manual search of the term "Elon Musk".

What kind of users are added into this Moderation List?

Users whose main content are the following:

• Pretend to be Elon Musk, via username, Bluesky handle, avatar, banner;

• Support Elon Musk via username, Bluesky handle, avatar, banner;

• Post mainly about Elon Musk content;

• Crosspost Elon Musk's Tweets to Bluesky.

Remember: Parody accounts will also end up here because the goal of this Moderation List is to reduce mention of Elon Musk in the Feed.

Therefore, we highly suggest blocking the included users individually instead of muting or blocking them all. We are not responsible for bad usage of this list.

What should not be added into the Moderation List?
