HOW MODELSCORE WORKS

ModelScore reads the geometry of your face the way a casting director assesses it, then scores five dimensions and writes you a refinement plan.

The five dimensions are:

• Facial Symmetry — balance between the left and right sides of your face

• Jawline Definition — angularity and definition of the mandible

• Skin Clarity — evenness of tone and texture

• Eye Attractiveness — spacing, shape, and proportion

• Bone Structure — underlying architecture and overall facial geometry

These are weighted together into an overall score from 0 to 100, which places you in one of four categories: Needs Development, Commercial Potential, High Fashion Potential, or Elite Model Potential.

All of this analysis runs on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework. Your photo never leaves your device.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

ModelScore Pro unlocks your score, your full five-dimension breakdown, your personalised refinement plan, your scan archive, and progress tracking.

Available plans:

• Yearly — $49.99 per year (works out at about $0.96 per week)

• Weekly — $9.99 per week

Both renew automatically until cancelled. There is no free trial.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Cancelling is handled by Apple, not by us — we have no ability to cancel on your behalf. Here is how:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

2. Tap your name at the very top

3. Tap Subscriptions

4. Tap ModelScore

5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You can also reach this screen from inside ModelScore: go to the Archive tab, tap the gear icon in the top right, and tap Manage Subscription.

Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not cut you off immediately.

Important: deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Settings as above.

REFUNDS

All purchases are processed by Apple, so all refunds are handled by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly.

To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the ModelScore purchase, and choose "Request a refund."

Apple decides these case by case. If you feel a refund was wrongly denied and there was a genuine fault in the app, email us at reynoldsjack47@gmail.com — while we cannot reverse Apple's decision, we can look into the underlying problem.

RESTORING A PURCHASE

If you have reinstalled the app, switched to a new iPhone, or your subscription is not being recognised:

1. Open ModelScore

2. Go to the Archive tab

3. Tap the gear icon in the top right

4. Tap Restore Purchases

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you originally purchased with. Restoring will not charge you again.

FUTURE YOU PORTRAITS

Future You is a separate one-time purchase that generates an editorial-style portrait from your photo, keeping your actual facial identity but applying professional studio lighting and direction.

Because it uses a generation service, this is the only feature that sends a photo off your device. It is always opt-in — nothing is transmitted unless you explicitly tap to generate. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy:

Notes:

• Generation typically takes 10 to 30 seconds

• You need an internet connection for this feature only

• Credits are consumed on success. If a generation fails, your credit is automatically returned

• Please only use photos of yourself. Do not upload photos of other people, and never photos of anyone under 18

TROUBLESHOOTING

"No face detected"

The analysis could not find a face in your photo. Try one where your face is clearly visible and well lit, facing roughly toward the camera, not obscured by sunglasses, hair, or a hand, and not too far from the lens. Natural light near a window works best.

"Analysis interrupted"

Usually a temporary issue. Close the app fully (swipe up from the bottom and flick ModelScore away), reopen it, and try again. If it keeps happening, restart your iPhone, and if it still persists email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.

My score changes between photos

This is expected. Lighting, camera angle, distance from the lens, and expression all measurably change what the analysis sees — angle alone can shift a score substantially. For consistent tracking, scan in similar conditions each time: same room, same time of day, same distance, neutral expression.

The Future You generation failed

Check your internet connection and try again. Your credit is returned automatically on failure, so you will not be charged for a failed generation. If it fails repeatedly, try a clearer, better-lit photo — the generator is stricter about image quality than the scanner is.

The app is not recognising my subscription

Use Restore Purchases as described above. Confirm you are signed into the correct Apple ID under Settings → your name.

I lost my scans

Scans are stored only on your device, so they do not transfer automatically between phones and are not recoverable if the app is deleted. They are included in an encrypted iPhone backup, so restoring from a backup that contains them will bring them back.

PRIVACY QUESTIONS

Does my photo get uploaded?

Not for scanning — all facial analysis happens on your iPhone. The single exception is Future You, which is opt-in and clearly labelled before you use it.

Can you see my score?

No. We have no servers storing user data and no accounts. Your scores exist only on your phone.

Do you use my photos to train AI?

We do not. For Future You, OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used for model training. Details in our Privacy Policy: https://sites.google.com/view/modelscore/privacy-policy

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual scans in the Archive tab, or delete the app to remove everything. There is no server-side copy.

A NOTE ON THE SCORES

ModelScore gives an aesthetic assessment of facial geometry against modelling-industry conventions. It is not a measure of your worth, your attractiveness to any actual person, or your health.

The modelling industry's criteria are narrow, arbitrary, and change constantly. A low score means your face does not match a specific commercial convention — nothing more than that.

If using this app is making you feel worse about yourself rather than giving you something useful to work on, please stop using it. That is a genuine recommendation, not boilerplate.
