There is speculation around the potential ambiguity of the hiragana in this lyric, in that it could be interpreted to mean "heroine" or "heroin." I chose to reflect this ambiguity in my choice of wording in the translyrics, in that it could be heard as "see the heart of heroines in me" or "see the heart of heroin's in me."

あっかんべ (akanbe) is a Japanese facial gesture, often used as a taunt. It was difficult to find an English equivalent of this that can fit the song, so I opted to write in "take the L," a slang term that's short for "take the loss," as it is also often used in a taunting manner.
