MOCHIFRAME — PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how MochiFrame ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application on Android devices.

By using MochiFrame, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. SUMMARY
MochiFrame is a photo booth app. We designed it to work primarily on your device.

• We do not require you to create an account.

• We do not sell your personal information.

• We do not show third-party advertising in the app.

• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs that collect your personal data for tracking.

• Photos you create are processed and stored on your device unless you choose to save them to your system photo gallery.

3. INFORMATION THE APP ACCESSES
3.1 Camera (optional)

If you use "Start Photo Booth", the app requests camera permission to capture photos for your photo strip. You can deny this permission and still use "Edit Photos" to pick images from your gallery instead.

3.2 Photos and media (user-selected)

If you use "Edit Photos" or save a finished strip, the app accesses images you select or create. On supported Android versions, the system photo picker is used where possible so you choose specific images to share with the app.

3.3 Storage on your device

The app may store:

• Draft and final photo strips in the app's private storage area

• A local list of saved "Memories" (thumbnail path, title, date, layout/frame names)

• App settings such as language preference and whether onboarding was completed

This data remains on your device unless you delete the app or clear app data.

3.4 Gallery export (your choice)

When you tap "Save to Gallery", the app saves your finished image to your device gallery (album name: "MochiFrame") using the Android media store. This is performed only when you explicitly request it.

4. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, transmit, or store on our servers:

• Your name, email, phone number, or account credentials (no accounts)

• Your contacts, location, or device identifiers for advertising

• Your photos on our own servers — we do not operate a cloud upload service for your images in the current version of the app

The app does not require an internet connection for core photo booth features.

5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Information accessed by the app is used only to:

• Display camera preview and capture photos you request

• Let you select photos from your gallery

• Compose layouts, frames, and filters into a photo strip

• Save results to your gallery when you choose

• Show your saved Memories inside the app

• Remember your language and onboarding preferences

6. DATA SHARING

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Data may be processed by:

• Your device operating system (e.g., camera, gallery, file storage) when you use those features

• Google Play services only as part of normal app distribution and device functionality, not for our separate data collection

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. DATA RETENTION

• App preferences and Memories metadata: kept until you clear app data or uninstall the app.

• Photos saved to your gallery: kept according to your device gallery management; we do not control deletion after export.

• Temporary working files: may be removed when you reset a session or uninstall the app.

8. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You can:

• Deny camera permission and use gallery mode only

• Revoke permissions anytime in Android Settings → Apps → MochiFrame → Permissions

• Delete saved Memories within the app by clearing app data or uninstalling

• Delete exported photos from your gallery using your device's gallery app

• Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data

Depending on your region, you may have additional rights regarding personal data (e.g., access, correction, deletion). Because we do not maintain a user account system or central server database of your photos, most data is under your direct control on your device. 9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MochiFrame is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at nguyentuongkhanh10@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

10. SECURITY
We use reasonable measures appropriate for a local-first app. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device (screen lock, OS updates).

11. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The app is operated without a user account backend. Data processing occurs on your device in the country where you use the app.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at the same URL and change the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
