Membership Expectations

Active Firefighter Members are expected to:

TRAIN: Training is the foundation of everything we do because lives depend on us, including our own.

RESPOND: There are plenty of activities and lots to be done in a busy volunteer fire department but emergency response is the number 1 priority of our team. Everything we do supports that mission.

SERVE: When we’re not responding to emergencies, we’re participating in department meetings, work details, station, vehicle and grounds maintenance, fundraisers and other public service functions and events. It sounds like a lot but it’s all achievable if you commit your time, energy and loyalty to serving with and for others.

Social Members are expected to:

Junior FIrefighter members are expected to:

The Junior Firefighter program is our youth program for young adults age 14-17 that offers an excellent opportunity to learn teamwork skills and mature into responsible and contributing community-focused adults. Requirements

• Completed the eighth grade in school

• Be at least fourteen (14) years of age

• Provide a School Work Permit

• Provide parental permission
