This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application MoCaDoEl (the “App”) handles information. The developer is XNikLin (“we”, “us”). For any privacy-related questions, contact us at: niklin.support@gmail.com.
The App is free and ad-supported.
We do not require registration and do not ask for your name, phone or e-mail, and we run no user-data servers of our own.
Game settings (language, theme, sound, music, the “ad-free” purchase status) are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.
Ads are served by our partner Google AdMob, which may collect your advertising identifier and technical device data.
The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing; your card details never reach us.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
The App stores your preferences (chosen language, theme, whether sound and music are on, and whether the “ad-free” purchase was made) in local device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with us or third parties. It is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. In-game currency (coins) and any phrases you buy are also stored only on your device.
To display ads, the App uses Google AdMob. AdMob and related Google advertising services may collect and process, among other things:
the device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);
IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
device information (model, OS version, language settings);
ad interaction data (impressions, clicks).
This data is used to serve and measure ads. In some regions ads may be personalized, subject to your consent (see section 4). The “Remove ads” purchase is a one-time, optional in-app purchase processed by Google Play. We only receive the purchase status (made / not made) in order to disable ads; your card details are not accessible to us. Payment processing is governed by Google Play’s terms and policies.
When you play an online match, the app connects to our relay server (mocadoel.niklin.app) to pair you with another player. To route the match in real time, the app transmits the display name you choose and a random, anonymous installation identifier. In-game messages (a fixed set of pre-defined phrases) and moves are relayed between the two players. This data is used only while the match is in progress; it is not stored on the server and is not linked to any account. No account or registration is required to play online.
operating the App and saving your preferences;
serving and measuring ads (via Google AdMob);
letting you remove ads through a purchase.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, on first launch the App shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) where you choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in the App settings.
You can also at any time:
reset or limit your advertising identifier in Android settings (“Privacy” → “Ads”);
remove ads entirely by making the “Remove ads” purchase.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will take action.
We do not sell your data. Data is processed by the service providers named above (Google AdMob, Google Play) solely for the purposes listed and in accordance with their privacy policies.
Local settings are kept on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Retention of data held by the advertising partner is governed by Google’s policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission is completely secure.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Please review this document periodically.
