The primary goal of a ball hopper in a dropping mechanism is to act as a storage reservoir and staging area for items before they are dispensed.Â
This part serves as the precision guide barrel and hopper for the ball dropper system. This is our very first design and it will slide into and lock to the dropper when finished.
This is a photo of it in the slicer as you can see it is too big for the slicer so this is when I split it apart and printed it next to each other.
Final Prints
These are the final prints for the hopper system and it was too big to print so I ended up splitting it in half and we are going to glue it together. This then will slide into the dropper piece and lock together with the sliding lock on the side of the hopper.
