MobiVPN is a tunneling utility app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use its features, including VPN connections, OpenVPN, SSH, Xray tools, local profile import/export, cloud configuration import/export, and MobiVPN configuration sharing.
By using this app, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The app may collect or process the following types of information depending on the features you use:
To provide VPN and tunneling functionality, the app may process configuration details such as:
Server address
Port number
Username and password for VPN/SSH accounts
OpenVPN configuration
SSH configuration
Xray configuration
Payload, proxy, SNI, host, and related tunneling settings
Connection mode or transport type
These details are used only to establish and manage your VPN or tunnel connection.
The app allows users to import, export, save, and manage configuration profiles. These profiles may include:
VPN server details
SSH or OpenVPN credentials
Payload settings
Proxy settings
Custom configuration values
JuanScript import/export codes
If you export or share a configuration code, anyone who has access to that code may be able to import the configuration in a compatible version of the app.
If the app includes cloud import/export features, configuration data may be uploaded to or downloaded from a server in order to let users share or retrieve profiles using an import code.
Cloud-shared configurations may include connection settings and credentials included by the user. Users should only share codes with people they trust.
2. VPN Traffic and Browsing Activity
MobiVPN is designed to route your internet traffic through VPN or tunneling connections that you configure or import.
We do not intentionally collect, store, sell, or monitor your browsing history, websites visited, DNS queries, or the content of your internet traffic.
However, your traffic may pass through third-party VPN servers, SSH servers, OpenVPN servers, Xray servers, proxies, or network providers depending on the configuration you use. The privacy and logging practices of those servers are controlled by their respective owners, not by MobiVPN.
You should only use servers and configurations from trusted sources.
3. Local Storage
The app may store configuration profiles locally on your device so you can reuse them later.
Local data may include:
Saved profiles
Connection settings
Server details
Account credentials
Payload settings
App preferences
You are responsible for protecting your device, anyone with access to your device may be able to access saved app data depending on your device security settings.
4. Import and Export Codes
The app may allow users to export configurations into shareable codes such as Mobi and JuanScript codes.
These codes may contain sensitive configuration information, including server details, usernames, passwords, payloads, and other connection settings.
You should treat exported codes as private information and only share them with trusted users.
If the app uses a built-in password or automatic decryption for import/export, users may not be asked to manually enter a password. This makes sharing easier, but it also means that anyone with a valid code and a compatible version of the app may be able to import the configuration.
5. Cloud Sharing
If cloud sharing is available, exported configurations may be uploaded to a server and linked to an import code.
Cloud-shared data may remain available until it expires, is deleted, or is otherwise removed according to the server’s rules.
Do not upload or share configurations that contain private or sensitive credentials unless you understand the risks.
We recommend that users avoid sharing personal accounts, private servers, or sensitive credentials through public channels.
6. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services for features such as:
Ads
Analytics
Crash reporting
Cloud storage or backend services
Push notifications
App distribution or update services
These third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
Examples of third-party services may include Google services, Firebase, AdMob, or similar tools, depending on what is integrated into the app.
7. Advertising
If the app displays ads, advertising providers may collect or use device information, advertising identifiers, app activity, or approximate location to show ads and measure ad performance.
You can manage ad personalization settings through your device or Google account settings.
8. Permissions Used by the App
The app may request permissions necessary for its features, such as:
