Huber Flores is an Associate Professor of Pervasive Computing at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, Estonia as well as a Docent (Affiliate Professor) at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Prior to that, he held the prestigious Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Fellowship and the competitive Faculty of Science Postdoctoral Fellowship of the University of Helsinki. He is a former member of UBICOMP at University of Oulu, Finland, and SyMLab at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. He is a member of ACM (SIGMOBILE) and IEEE associations. He consistently publishes at top-ranked conferences, such as Ubicomp/IMWUT, ICDCS, CHI, PerCom, WWW, HotMobile, MobiSys; and journals such as IEEE Communications, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Pervasive and Mobile Computing Journal, and IEEE Pervasive Computing. His major research interests include mobile and pervasive computing, distributed systems, and mobile cloud computing.

Gabriel Orsini is a postdoctoral researcher in the field of distributed systems at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Gabriel studied at the University of Hamburg, Germany, where he also received his PhD in computer science. He also studied at the University of Trieste, Italy. Gabriel has published his work in proceedings of international conferences such as Information Management, WMNC, FAS*W, MobiSPC and in journals such as the JAIHC and ETT. He serves as a reviewer board member of international journals like Future Internet and MAKE. His research interests include mobile cloud computing, context adaptation and computation offloading.

Janick Edinger, University of Hamburg, Germany, edinger@informatik.uni-hamburg.de

Janick Edinger is an assistant professor of distributed operating systems at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Janick studied at the University of Mannheim, Germany, where he also received his PhD. He also studied at Taiwan National University and the University of Alberta, Canada, and completed research stays at the University of British Columbia, Canada, Hong Kong Polytechnical University, and Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. Janick has published his work in proceedings of international conferences such as MobiQuitous, PerCom, IPDPS, ICCCN, IUI, COMPSAC, and CHIIR, and received the PerCom 2021 Mark Weiser Best Paper Award. Janick is a shadow PC member for EuroSys 2021. His research interests include computation offloading, edge computing, and assistive technologies.
