6. Document Processing

6.1 Local Processing

Most document viewing and editing is performed entirely on your device. Your files remain on your device and are not uploaded to any server.

6.2 Server-Side Conversion

Certain features (PDF to Word, Word to PDF conversions) require server processing:

• Your document is encrypted during transmission (HTTPS).

• The document is processed and immediately returned to your device.

• We do not store, read, or retain your documents on our servers.

6.3 AI Features

The AI document assistant sends your prompts to our AI server for processing. No personal identifying information is included with these requests.

7.1 Local Storage

• Recent Files: A list of recently opened file names and paths is stored locally.

• Preferences: Your settings (theme, font size, etc.) are stored on your device.
