Alan Blush is in his last semester of his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Alan has attended Capitol Technology University since Fall of 2017. He previously graduated from Bridgevalley Community and Technical College in WV in December 2016 with two Associates degrees; Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology. Alan has been an executive member in many organizations including; The Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, robotics club, space club and a team leader in a space design challenge. The reason Alan decided on this project was because he had a friend who had an abnormal pulse for months but never went to the doctor, because she thought it was just anxiety . She thankfully caught her medical issue before something serious happened, but there should have been a way for her to know something was going on with her pulse immediately instead of months later. Millions of other people go through the same situation and for some people it could be too late when they decide to seek medical help. Alan wanted to create a device that could put a stop to this issue and help millions of people keep better track of their heart health.
