Aditya is an Assistant Professor in the department of computer science at the University of Calgary, Canada. His areas of expertise include soft wearables, sensing, digital fabrication and the design of novel interaction techniques

Adwait is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bath, United Kingdom.

He completed his Ph.D. at Saarland University (Germany), advised by Prof. Jürgen Steimle. His research focuses on enabling interaction with computers in challenging situations. Specifically, while users’ hands are encumbered holding everyday objects. His work majorly includes interaction design by understanding user preferences, creation and empirical analysis of large-scale datasets, and machine learning models for real-time recognition.
