Hello,
Our MOBC Site is one that focuses on having a family atmosphere with our children, their parents and the staff. Our philosophy is to work extremely hard, but play even harder. All because we want our children to truly enjoy coming to "their" program. Our goal is to make every single day one of learning, growth and fun, while providing a safe, relaxing and loving environment.
We strive for our children to grow academically, socially and emotionally. We also place a big focus on exposing our children to a plethora of enrichment opportunities/experiences for them to have fun with and enjoy.
However, the most important thing we do at the MOBC Site is prioritizing that all of our children feel loved and cared for. We need all of them to know they matter individually and collectively.
Best,
Jeff White & Meghan Boyer
Hello,
Curiosity, community, compassion, courage and craftsmanship- these are the core values of Explore School. However, when I think of our after school program I think of one more C- creativity.
Our students are wonderfully unique and kind hearted friends who put a special Explore twist on everything they do. During our program our students voices and individual styles are seen as they are writers, artists, mathematicians, inventors, and readers.
To encourage creativity we use a project based based learning method. This gives students voice and choice in their learning.

Hey Everybody,
Academics is our #1 priority, but we also offer daily enrichment clubs exposing students to the arts, stem and fitness/sports.
We are a NAZA funded program where we partner with various community organizations to offer programs that benefit the whole development of the child. By offering specialty activities that enhance social emotional learning, healthy lifestyles and college/career readiness we are able to instill our core values in the students in a fun interactive way.
Our NAZA Values are: Overall Safety, Relationship Building, Meaningful Youth Participation, Purposeful Learning and Healthy Lifestyles.

Hey Guys!
My name is Ms. Liz and I am excited to meet you! I have been with Tom Joy for 4 years. I started as an AmeriCorps Service Member and worked my way up to a full time Site Coordinator.
We are the Tom Joy Tigers who just happen to be an affectionate, energetic, silly, and talented bunch! My hope is to have parental support and open lines of communication as an essential part of a successful school year.
I can't wait to partner with you in your child’s continued success in school, in learning, and soaring to new heights!
Best,
Liz Poindujour & Kaitlin Nida
Hello there,
I am proud to be the Site Coordinator for our program at Warner Arts Magnet School. We serve over 50 students from grades K-4.
While our program primarily seeks to promote reading achievement, we also put an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning and the Performing Arts. Our partners, Nashville Children's Theater, Nashville Ballet, and others provide excellent opportunities for our students to express themselves.
Warner students are bright, talented, and kind. Our program works to remind them of that daily. I am always looking for opportunities for my students, so please contact me if you would like to get involved!
Best,
Annisha Bell & Holly Folks
