Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of “Moavie” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and the users in connection with the use of Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided by “Moavie,” which is operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
“Moavie” refers to a cyber community operated by the Company through computers and other information and communications facilities (such as the Internet, telephone, etc.), enabling users to send letters at their desired time.
“User” refers to any person who accesses “Moavie” and receives information and other services provided by “Moavie” in accordance with these Terms.
“User” may be required to provide personal information requested by “Moavie” in order to receive services provided by “Moavie.”
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
The Company shall post the contents of these Terms, the name of its representative, contact information (phone, fax, e-mail address, etc.), on the initial service screen of “Moavie” (https://sites.google.com/view/moavie) in a way accessible to users. The detailed Terms may be made available via linked screens.
The Company may amend these Terms within the scope not violating related laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, the Door-to-Door Sales Act, and the Consumer Protection Act.
In the event of amending these Terms, the Company shall announce the effective date and reasons for the amendment along with the current Terms on the initial service screen of “Moavie” at least 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before. However, if the amendment is disadvantageous to users, the Company shall provide at least 30 days’ prior notice. In such cases, “Moavie” shall clearly indicate both the pre-amended and post-amended provisions for easy comparison.
The amended Terms shall only apply to contracts entered into after the effective date, and contracts already concluded shall remain subject to the pre-amended Terms. However, if an existing user wishes to be subject to the amended Terms, they may express such intention during the notice period, and upon the Company’s consent, the amended Terms shall apply.
Matters not specified in these Terms and the interpretation thereof shall follow consumer protection guidelines, electronic commerce consumer protection guidelines, related laws, or general commercial practices.
Article 4 (Provision and Changes of Services)
The Company provides members with the following services:
① Letter community services
The Company may divide the Services into certain ranges and designate available times separately for each range, provided that such changes shall be notified in advance.
The Services are provided in principle 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Company may temporarily suspend Services in cases such as maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication equipment, interruption of communications, or for operational reasons. In such cases, the Company shall notify members in accordance with Article 6. However, if advance notice is not possible due to unavoidable reasons, notice may be given afterwards.
The Company may conduct regular inspections if necessary for service provision, and the inspection time shall be announced on the service screen.
Article 5 (Suspension of Services)
“Moavie” may temporarily suspend Services in cases such as maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities, communication disruptions, or replace existing Services with new Services, or discontinue current Services for reasons deemed appropriate by the Company.
In the event of suspension under Paragraph 1, the Company shall notify members in accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 3. However, if Services are suspended due to reasons beyond the Company’s control (such as disk failure or system downtime without the administrator’s intent or negligence), prior notice may not be possible.
Article 6 (Notice to Users)
If “Moavie” needs to give notice to a user, it may do so via the e-mail address submitted by the user to “Moavie.”
For notifications to an unspecified number of users, “Moavie” may substitute individual notice by posting on the bulletin board of “Moavie” for at least one week.
“Moavie” may send service or product information to members by e-mail, and use it for purposes such as product delivery or marketing, if members consent.
Article 7 (User’s Personal Information)
“Moavie” collects necessary personal information from users in accordance with applicable laws in order to provide Services. (Details of personal information are specified in the Privacy Policy.)
Article 8 (Obligations of “Moavie”)
“Moavie” shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or contrary to public order and morals, and shall make efforts to continuously and stably provide Services in accordance with these Terms.
“Moavie” shall establish systems that enable users to use Services safely and conveniently.
If “Moavie” causes damages to users due to intentional or gross negligence in connection with the use of Services, “Moavie” shall be liable for compensation.
Article 9 (Copyright and Use of Posts)
Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in works created by “Moavie” belong to “Moavie.”
Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes, or provide to third parties, any information obtained through the use of Services without prior consent from “Moavie.”
Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users in connection with free Services, except in cases caused by the Company’s intentional or gross negligence.
Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)
“Moavie” shall give priority to handling complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt handling is difficult, “Moavie” shall immediately notify users of the reason and the schedule for handling.
Disputes arising between “Moavie” and users may be submitted to the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee established under Article 28 of the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce and Article 15 of its Enforcement Decree.
[Supplementary Provisions] (Amended September 10, 2025)
These Terms shall be effective from September 10, 2025, and previous Terms shall be replaced by these Terms.
