1. Agroprenuer

Program Agropreneur Muda was introduced in Rancangan Malaysia Kesebelas (RMK-11). It is an initiative from MAFI toward youth(18-40 year) the objective of this program is encourage youth engage in agri-food sector which include crop production, food industry, fishery and livestock.

2. Agropelancongan

Agrotourism is a way of sustainable tourist development and multiactivity in rural areas through which the visitor has the opportunity to get close awareness with agricultural areas, agricultural occupations, local products, traditional food and the daily life of the rural people, as well as the cultural elements and traditions of the local communities. government provide grants for building and upgrade agrotourism infrastructure.

3. Program Latihan Pertanian (Agriculture Training Program)

  • This program is aimed to increase the agricultural production through human capital development model in the agricultural sector. The program is conducted via National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) and National Skill Development Act 2006. This program divide into two type: long term program and short term program. it aimed to produce a confident, skillful, high competitive agropeneur.

4. MyFutureAgro

Future Agro promote a scheme called Biokerjaya. it is a hiring incentive scheme under PENJANA for companies to train (on the job training) and encourage the workforce to venture into biotechnology, bio-based, agriculture or agrofood industry. It aims to promote job creation among employers while increasing employment prospects for the unemployed, graduates, school leavers, and retrenched workers as apprentices.

1. CIMB Agrofood Facility Scheme

This scheme is providing an attractive financial loan for agricultural activity. With only 3.75% per annum and maximum RM5 Mil, farmers are able to expand thier business activities.

2. Bank Negara Malaysia Fund For Food

this fund is aimed to provide financing for SMEs to increase agrofood production for Malaysia and for exports. it provides loan up to RM5 million with maximum 3.75% p.a.
