This Privacy Policy explains how the BMI Calculator mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Summary

BMI Calculator is designed to work entirely on your device. The App does not require an account, and it does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal health information with us or any third party. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

2. Information You Enter

To calculate your BMI and related results, the App lets you enter:

• Optional profile name

• Age, gender, height, and weight

• Your saved BMI calculation history

This information is stored locally on your device only (using on-device storage) and is never uploaded to our servers — we do not operate any servers that receive this data. You can permanently delete all of it at any time using Settings → Data → Erase All Data, or by uninstalling the App.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, photos, or health records. We have no analytics SDK that profiles you, and we do not build advertising profiles from your health inputs.

4. Permissions

• Internet access — used to load content such as advertisements (see Section 5) in versions of the App that include them. The current version does not transmit your personal or health data over the internet.

5. Advertising

The current version of BMI Calculator does not display advertisements. A future version of the App is planned to include third-party advertising, and this section describes how that will work.

When advertising is enabled, the App will use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain data to provide and personalize ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID)

• General app-usage and ad-interaction data

• Approximate, non-precise location derived from your IP address

This data is handled by Google under its own policies, not by us. You can review how Google uses this information at Google's Privacy & Terms, and you can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads. Your BMI inputs and health data are never shared with advertisers.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.

7. Data Security & Retention

Because your data stays on your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections. Data is retained until you erase it within the App or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies because we never receive your data.

8. Your Choices

• Erase all stored data anytime via Settings → Data → Erase All Data.

• Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored information.

• Reset your Advertising ID via your device settings (when ads are present).

9. Medical Disclaimer

BMI Calculator is an informational and educational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when advertising is introduced. The "Effective date" above will be updated accordingly, and continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
