Our Mission:

To conserve, restore and promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of our natural resources, including soil, air, woods, waters and wildlife.

Our Activities:

We focus our activity on local conservation issues and policy.  We participate in volunteer science that promotes clean water by monitoring local streams for water quality through the Izaak Walton League's Salt Watch, Nitrate Watch and Save our Streams programs.  The chapter also manages a wetland deeded to our care in 1956 by the Mayo family.

Our Meetings:

We hold meetings related to a variety of local conservation topics in the historic Rochester Izaak Walton League cabin located at 937 7th Ave. NE, Rochester, MN 55906 (click address for map).  The meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
