Venza — Venue & Event Place Discovery

1. INTRODUCTION

MnL Soft built the Venza app as a free service. Venza helps users in the Philippines discover venues and event places by location. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

By using Venza, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Location Data

Venza requests access to your device's GPS location to:

- Automatically detect your province or region in the Philippines

- Sort venue listings by distance (closest first)

- Display a "Showing venues in [Province]" label relevant to your location

Location data is used only on your device for the purposes above. We do not store, transmit, or log your precise GPS coordinates to our servers.

2.2 Anonymous Usage (Current)

Venza currently does not require you to create an account. No name, email address, or personal profile is collected during standard app use.

2.3 Future: User Accounts

We plan to introduce optional user accounts in a future version of Venza (e.g., for saving favorite venues or booking history). When that feature is available, this Privacy Policy will be updated, and you will be informed before any account-related data is collected.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect or have access to:

- Your name, email, or contact information (unless you contact us directly)

- Photos or camera access

- Microphone or audio recordings

- Contacts or call logs

- Financial or payment information

- Precise GPS coordinates stored on our servers

The limited information processed by Venza is used solely to:

- Provide location-relevant venue listings

- Improve app performance and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Venza uses the following third-party services that may collect certain data as part of their operation:

Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase Firestore (provided by Google) to store and serve venue data. Firebase may collect anonymous usage diagnostics. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Services

Venza is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google Play Services may collect device and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

6. DATA RETENTION

Since Venza does not currently collect personal data, there is no user data retained on our servers. Location data processed during your session is used only in real time and is not stored.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Venza is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We value the trust you place in us and take reasonable precautions to protect any information processed by Venza. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of Venza after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
