Associate Professor of Statistics - ESSEC Business School
Member of the Statistics Department of CREST
I am an Associate Professor (with tenure) of Statistics at ESSEC Business School, and a member of the Statistics Department of CREST. Prior to that I was an Assistant Professor (RTPC) in the department of Mathematics at USC since August 2019, where I was working with Stas Minsker.
I have received a PhD in theoretical statistics, under the supervision of A.B. Tsybakov. My research interests are in high dimensional statistics. In particular, I have worked during my PhD on variable selection, estimation and community detection in the high dimensional setting. I am also interested in robust statistics, stochastic processes, harmonic analysis, random matrix theory and spiked models.
You can find here my PhD thesis.
I will be giving a talk at the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), October 17th 2025, Geneva, Switzerland.
I will be giving a talk at the Statistics and Data Workshop, December 9-12th 2025, Bogota, Colombia.
I am part of the organising committee of the Meeting in Mathematical Statistics, December 2023-2025, Luminy, France.
Part of my research is funded by CY Initiative of Excellence Paris-Seine.
