Our Goals
-Build political will in Minnesota for climate solutions, particularly carbon pricing with dividends
-Raise awareness of the Citizens' Climate Lobby and attract new volunteers from rural areas
-Provide a clear signal to our elected officials that Minnesota is eager to act on climate

Click to Find Newspapers in any Minnesota County. Pay attention to editor guidelines for LTEs (deadlines, maximum words, residency guidelines).
Write your letter. See LTE Resources and LTE Examples for topic ideas, suggestions for effective LTEs, and examples of published LTEs.
Submit your letter. You can submit to more than one newspaper at once.
An easy way to keep track of publication is to set up a google alert for yourself. You are welcome to call newspapers to check on the status of your letter also.
When you are published--HURRAY! Email us and record in the Action Tracker. If you don't record your letter in Action Tracker, please send us the entire text of your letter so we can include it in the compilation of LTEs that we plan to present to our Members of Congress on Lobby Day!
