Prof. Minseok Kim earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical System Engineering from Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea, in 2010. He pursued his doctoral studies at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, Korea, where he completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. Following his Ph.D., Prof. Kim conducted postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, USA, from 2015 to 2017. He later served as a senior researcher at the Daegu Convergence Technology Research Center, part of the Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM), Daegu, Korea. Prof. Kim is currently a faculty member at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), Gumi, Korea. His research focuses on microfluidics, biosensors, bio-MEMS, nanofabrication, and the application of deep learning in bio-chemical analysis, driving innovations in these interdisciplinary fields.
