Oct 2020 to July 2024 • My primary function as a classroom teacher is to facilitate the development of the students in the cognitive, affective, ethical, and physical domains of their growth. To this end, I provide an educational program for the students and assist in other school programs like afterschool clubs or DPs programs as required by Board policy and contractual obligations.
• Follow a professional development program to encourage critical thinking, self-reflection, and dedication to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
• Applying a pedagogy known to produce students who are motivated to continue inquiry and lifelong learning, beyond school study.
• Actively promote and model the Mission, Beliefs, and Graduate Profile of the school.
• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and constructive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Creates, a functional, safe, attractive and physically comfortable environment to the extent possible.
• Maintains professional competence through participation in in-service educational activities provided by the school and/or self-elected professional growth activities.
• Support students as they develop the approaches to learning they need.
• Work on innovative and diverse education frameworks, unit planners, teaching resources, and evaluation tools.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities according to IB standards.
• Prepare the learners to obtain certificates and be involved in programmers offered by highly respected universities worldwide.
• Teaching topics: IB Business curriculum - High Level Programming Language (Scratch & Python) - Advisory classes - Approach to learn "ATL" .
• Maintained classroom order and discipline.
• Assist students in completing assignments and improve exams results.
• Provide students progress feedback on a regular basis.
