Past MLMS Events
The 2024 symposium was a great success! Over 120 attendees came to the Arboretum to hear from a range of speakers on topics related to defining, assessing, and improving "lake health". We received lots of positive feedback on the venue and quality of the symposium. Let's keep the flow going in 2025!
The 2024 Day-at-the-Lake Event was held at Lake Riley Park in the southern Twin Cities metro. We had over 60 attendees, and MLMS had experts on hand for informal discussions and demonstrations of AIS identification, sediment sampling, CD3 stations, and carp population monitoring and management.
MLMS extends a special thanks to Josh Maxwell & the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District for bringing their carp shocking boat for all to see!
