This Privacy Policy describes how MMT (Marriage Maintenance Timer) (“MMT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information.

Summary

MMT is designed to be privacy-first by default. Your history and usage data stay on your device unless you enable optional Sharing.

Information We Collect

MMT does not collect personal information for advertising or sell user data.

Depending on how you use the app, MMT may store the following on your device:

• Maintenance logs (timestamps you record)

• Settings (e.g., threshold, reminder preferences)

• App configuration needed for features like widgets and shortcuts

Data Stored on Your Device

By default, your app data (including your log history) remains on your device.

Data deletion: You can remove your data by deleting entries in the app or uninstalling the app, which removes local data from this device.

Sharing (Optional)

If you enable Sharing, MMT shares only a minimal status snapshot so a spouse can view your status.

Shared snapshot includes:

• Time since last maintenance

• Status (Good / Approaching / Overdue)

• “Last updated” timestamp

Not shared:

• Full log history

• Trends and analytics

• Threshold settings

• Reminder schedules

• Quiet hours

• Any detailed event list

Sharing uses Apple iCloud/CloudKit, and requires iCloud to be signed in on the device(s).

Widgets

Widgets may display your status on your device. Widget refresh timing is controlled by iOS.

Subscriptions & Purchases

If you subscribe to MMT Pro, purchases are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.

MMT does not receive your full payment details. Apple may provide us with basic purchase information (such as subscription status) to unlock Pro features.

Analytics / Tracking

MMT does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

MMT is not intended for children under 13.
