5th-6th Grade Transition

 Who: All students new to Marshall Middle School are invited 

1. Where: Marshall Middle School

2. What: Taking Flight is six one-hour sessions before school starts as a way to help students become more familiar with Marshall, school layout and expectations in middle school.

3. Why: To meet new Cardinals and help ease the first-day jitters

When: Monday, August 10th, 2026

Session #1: 8:00-9:00 AM

Session #2: 9:30-10:30 AM

Session #3: 11:00-12:00 PM

Session #4: 2:00-3:00 PM

Session #5: 3:30-4:30 PM

Session #6: 5:00-6:00 PM

• Review the time you selected. If correct, add your student's name in the "Comment: (students name)" box.

1. Who: 5th grade students and families coming to Marshall Middle School next year.

2. Where: Marshall Middle School

3. What: If you have a student(s) who are currently a 5th grader that is coming to MMS next year please join us and learn more about Middle School life at Marshall, get a tour around the building, and meet some of our Cardinal Staff! 

4. When: 

   1. There are two days we are providing. Each day we ask if your last name starts with A-M please come April 14th. If your last name starts with N-Z please come April 15TH.

   2. Last Name Initials A-M: Wednesday, April 14th 2026 at 6:00-7:30 PM

   3. Last Name Initials: N-Z Thursday, April 15th 2026 at 6:00-7:30 PM
