“Reflectorama”, a spectacular installation by South Dakota artist, Bob H. Miller, literally reflects the artist’s lifelong interest in art and science. Using Scotchlite reflective sheeting, Miller has created dozens of abstract collages to produce a dramatically unique visual experience. TIP: You must use a flashlight to see the art, so bring your phones!

“Native American Art from the Collection” represents a small segment of the art created by several tribes across America. The collection includes lithographs of the Charles Byrd King oil portraits of Native American chieftains, basketry with traditional designs, quilts and weavings.

The Asian Gallery represents contemporary and historical art and artifacts from several countries and dynasties. View contemporary Korean artist Key-Sook Geum’s decorative garments made from wire, beads and semi-precious stones. In the historical area, view sacred Buddhist altar pieces, an 1,100 year old Tang horse and many other artifacts that represent artistic styles in Asia.

The themed galleries are “The Great American Chair”, “American Metal”, “The American Landscape”, “American Men and Women”, “American Quilts” and “American Glass and Crystal”.
