Title: Remote patient monitoring system using GSM & GPS
Description: A device is attached to the human body for detecting body temperature, and a wireless communication circuitry of GSM & GPS. The body temperature is processed through a comparator which compares it with the reference value. On finding abnormal variation, the system used to inform the doctors & family members through SMS. Through this project, remote patient monitoring system by using a technology embedded within a wrist-band was developed.
Title: GSM and GPS Based Vehicle Theft Identification, Tracking and Control System Using Arm Processor
Description: This system contained a single-board embedded system equipped with GPS and GSM modems along with ARM processor (LPC2148) installed in the vehicle. During object motion, its location was reported by SMS message. A software package was developed to read, process, analyze and store the incoming SMS messages. The use of GSM and GPS technologies allowed the system to track object and provided the most up-to-date information about ongoing trips. If a password like SMS is sent by the owner, it automatically stops the vehicle or we can use it for different other work, it can provide real time control. This system finds its application in real time traffic surveillance. It could be used as a valuable tool for real time traveler.
Title: Speech guided robot
Description: Algorithm was developed in visual basic to control robot via speech commands such as forward, reverse, right, left .etc. Robot follows the commands from authenticated users only. This project included the wise & efficient use of Microsoft Speech recognition API on VB.Net platform. The controller board was designed using Atmega32 microcontroller & driving circuitry.
Title: ROBOT control though cell phone
Description: It is a DTMF based robot control system having no range limits. One mobile phone is installed on robot chassis. And one mobile phone on human controller present anywhere in the world. Includes DTMF decoder 8770, ATmega 16 as major parts.
Title: Digital code locking for motorcycle engines
Description: The aim of this project was to lock a motorcycle by means of giving password using an AVR microcontroller board. In this project if an unauthorized person is trying to move a motorcycle, the alarm gives indication continuously. In our project whenever we give the correct password, which is typed through a connecting keyboard so that the battery and petrol tank gets open, and also the ignition circuitry completes its path.
Title: Home security system
Description: When Fire catches the home, automatically mobile will call fire brigade. And also the bulk SMS having residential address will be sent to responsible authorities on their mobile phones. It Included fire sensors, microcontroller, and GSM modem as major parts.
Title: RFID Based Highway Toll Tax Collection System
Description: This system allowed the vehicle drivers to pass the toll tax booths without stopping at the toll booths. The toll amount was deducted from the RFID card. This RFID card is rechargeable and account is stored on the records. This system provides two benefits. First benefit is that movement of traffic will be much faster as user will not wait to give the money because, driver has to just show the RFID card in-front of the card reader. Second benefit is that driver doesn't have to carry the money each time. He will just recharge the RFID card by certain amount and will use this card each time he travels. This is little bit similar to using credit cards. This system included ARM2148 Microcontroller, RFID Card & Reader, and Serial LCD & Thermal Printer as major parts.
Title: Real-time webcam tracking
Description: This project was implemented using matlab & other supporting hardware including Atmega32, Stepper Motor & driver circuitry. Surrounding environment is scanned continuously. & whenever it motion found, the system directs webcam to the motion causing element whether it may be human or bird or any device. Useful in surveillance applications.
