Author’s Statement: In Defense of the Legal Heritage of the Land of Vikings
AT THE WATCHPOST OF LAW, TRUTH, AND JUSTICE
The destiny of Norway—this grand, ancestral land that served as the cradle for a unique civilization whose history, culture, and traditions have been forged over more than twenty-five centuries—cannot leave anyone indifferent who is truly devoted to the ideals of genuine justice. This is the rugged and magnificent realm of the courageous descendants of the Vikings, whose national character has historically been anchored upon the immutable principles of personal honor, fidelity to one’s word, and uncompromising equality before the law. As a researcher, a jurist, and a man whose thoughts and actions are inextricably bound to the future of this great nation, I perceive the protection of its statehood not merely as a professional obligation, but as a sacred moral duty that demands an uncompromising stand against any latent threats.
Today, as the unsettling contours of systemic degradation begin to surface beneath the facade of external prosperity in this stable European kingdom, true concern for the country must not be replaced by the populism of party functionaries and the loud slogans of political clans. The monopoly on patriotism cannot belong to those who utilize the state podium and the administrative resources of the Labour Party to construct personal ethno-political verticals and backroom allocations of preferences. Genuine, constructive patriotism demands not boastfulness, but the daily courage to speak the truth, to expose the hidden abscesses of society, and to defend the traditional foundations of Norwegian law from the destructive influence of clientelism and opportunistic machinations.
The security, stability, and sovereign tranquility of Norway must remain an unconditional and absolute priority, standing far above any narrow partisan interests and the ambitions of isolated immigrant factions. The contemporary challenges confronting the electoral and legal systems of the Kingdom require our utmost vigilance, for the subversion of citizens' trust in key state institutions is a direct path to the erosion of national identity. Today, the defense of the Fatherland takes place not upon fields of battle, but within the dimension of legal monitoring, the mathematical verification of electoral processes, and the unyielding defense of transparency principles, without which the peaceful and prosperous development of Scandinavian society cannot be preserved.
My personal and professional experience as a former parliamentarian, who dedicated years to a systemic, implacable struggle against nepotism, favoritism, and the obscured manifestations of institutional corruption, obliges me to stand at the vanguard of this intellectual defense. I am convinced that cronyism and covert patron-client agreements, which corrode the state fabric from within, constitute the most dangerous internal enemy, capable of devaluing the great historical heritage of this land. An honest, open, and well-argued defense of the interests of the Norwegian people against the abuses of the ruling elites is the only possible stance for a man who has maintained fidelity to his oath and his duty to society.
This anti-corruption resource is destined to become an independent bastion of legal thought, where the language of rigorous judicial formulations, academic journalism, and irrefutable mathematical data strips the masks from latent manipulators. We are duty-bound to preserve Norway for future generations in the same pristine grandeur in which its ancestors co-created it—as a land of free people where the law is sacred, the authorities are accountable to the citizens, and justice is never sold for party subsidies or electoral votes. This work is my modest yet resolute contribution to the preservation of the great civilization of the North, its spiritual purity, and its inviolable legal sovereignty.
In Norway—a country with a rich historical heritage dating back to the Viking Age, a country whose governmental and social traditions have developed over many centuries—respect for the law, human dignity, and democratic institutions must remain not merely a declaration, but a fundamental principle of public administration.
Among the millions of citizens of this country are individuals who are unwilling to remain indifferent to the possible abuse of public authority, the opacity of political mechanisms, and practices capable of undermining public confidence in democratic institutions. Regardless of the party affiliation of public officials, no political force should assume that its actions will remain beyond public scrutiny and professional legal analysis.
I am among those who refuse to accept administrative explanations without verification, to substitute political statements for evidence, or to regard citizens as incapable of independently assessing the conduct of those in power. For me, respect for the state does not entail unconditional trust in everyone who acts in its name. On the contrary, respect for the state itself demands a principled examination of the actions of its public officials.
My analytical monograph constitutes an expression of profound professional distrust concerning those aspects of the exercise of public authority that have become the subject of this study. Such distrust is founded not on partisan preferences, but on the conviction that governmental decisions must be verifiable, electoral processes must be transparent, and all persons must be equal before the law.
I am prepared to devote my entire research endeavour, analytical methods, mathematical apparatus, and professional experience in jurisprudence to the defence of the country, its people, truth, and the law. For a person who has dedicated his life to law enforcement and scholarly work, fidelity to professional duty means a willingness to investigate complex circumstances irrespective of the political standing or public influence of those whose actions are subject to scrutiny.
Where corrupt mechanisms or unlawful interference with electoral processes are substantiated, they affect not only the interests of individual voters or political competitors. They confront the entire legal system with the question of whether the state is capable of ensuring genuine freedom of political choice, equality among electoral participants, and the effective operation of mechanisms of public accountability.
Particular attention in my monograph is devoted to the activities of political and administrative structures associated with the electoral processes under examination, including the role of the Norwegian Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet). The subject of the analysis is neither the political convictions of citizens nor their origins, but specific administrative decisions, financial and informational mechanisms, and their potential influence on the conditions under which voters form and express their political will.
Digital traces, official electoral data, polling-district-level statistical indicators, and documented circumstances are of particular importance to this study. These materials have been systematically organised and subjected to mathematical, comparative, and legal analysis. Their evidentiary value is determined not by the apparent significance of individual indicators, but by the reproducibility of calculations, the quality of the underlying data, and the possibility of testing alternative explanations.
For this very reason, references to integration programmes cannot, in themselves, constitute an exhaustive response to the questions raised in the monograph. The social importance of integration policy does not preclude the need to examine the expenditure of public funds, the transparency of political communication, and compliance with the principle of autonomous electoral choice.
The preparation of this monograph required an extensive research effort. Its legal and analytical framework brings together polling-district-level tables of electoral indicators, statistical analysis of identified anomalies, examination of the applicable legal and regulatory framework, documentary materials, and consideration of the national and international avenues of recourse provided for by law.
At the same time, scholarly integrity requires a clear distinction between a statistical anomaly, a well-founded suspicion, and a legally established violation. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is not to proclaim a predetermined accusatory conclusion, but to examine the facts systematically and present findings capable of withstanding independent scholarly and legal scrutiny.
I regard this work as the fulfilment of my professional and civic duty. Its purpose is to contribute to the protection of the rule of law, the strengthening of democratic institutions, and the affirmation of the principle that public authority must remain accountable to society.
It is an immense honor for me to have traversed this path of analytical research and to bring to fruition this monumental work, which has been awaiting its moment since September 8, 2025. This represents a colossal endeavor, demanding utmost resilience, fortitude, and an unwavering commitment to core principles. The anniversary has passed, and this critical milestone—both deeply personal and scientific—has been brilliantly achieved.
Assessing the impact of demographic and migration factors on the results of the Storting election held on 8 September 2025 requires a detailed analytical examination.
1. Critical Analysis of the Electoral Base and Demographic Shifts
The results of Norway’s parliamentary election held on 8 September 2025 demonstrate the consolidation of the Norwegian Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet) in key positions, prompting researchers to examine more closely the composition of the electorate that participated in the vote. Within the context of electoral sociology, particular attention is drawn to the hypothesis that the balance of political forces may have shifted as a result of the participation of new citizens of the Kingdom. According to a number of analytical assumptions, a substantial proportion of the votes cast in favour of the centre-left coalition may have been provided by voters of migrant origin — in particular, individuals originating from countries of the Middle East and Asia, professing Islam and possessing full electoral rights through Norwegian citizenship and passports. This trend points to the possible dependence of traditional political forces on support from new demographic groups whose electoral preferences have historically tended towards parties advocating extensive social support and inclusive migration policies.
2. The Relationship Between the Level of Integration, Literacy, and Electoral Choice
A second critical aspect of the study concerns the qualitative composition of this electoral group, particularly the level of its functional and linguistic literacy, as well as the degree of its integration into Norway’s sociocultural environment. There are substantial grounds for assuming that a significant proportion of new voters of Middle Eastern and Asian origin encounter difficulties in mastering the Norwegian language and understanding the intricacies of complex political programmes. Such a level of electoral preparedness creates risks of superficial or externally guided voting, in which electoral choice is determined not by a conscious analysis of economic platforms, but by simplified slogans or by a consolidated position within closed migrant communities. This raises questions regarding the quality of the electoral process, since the outcome of a nationwide vote begins to depend to a considerable extent on a segment of citizens exhibiting a minimal degree of engagement with Norway’s traditional civic culture.
3. Political Consequences for Sovereignty and Systemic Stability
Ultimately, these conclusions make it possible to raise a serious question concerning the long-term sustainability of the Norwegian democratic model. If the Labour Party’s victory in September 2025 was indeed critically determined by the votes of citizens of foreign origin who have not been fully integrated, this would signal the emergence of a profound electoral divide. A situation in which the indigenous population and highly integrated strata of society may find themselves in a minority in determining the composition of the Storting as a result of the mass acquisition of passports by new waves of immigrants creates a precedent for the erosion of the classical understanding of national sovereignty. Such a scenario requires Norwegian analysts and legislators to undertake a rigorous reconsideration of the mechanisms governing the granting of citizenship and the criteria for eligibility to vote, in order to prevent a situation in which the direction of the Kingdom’s development is determined by persons who do not share its fundamental values.
An analysis of electoral mechanisms and their vulnerabilities makes it possible to examine more deeply the concealed factors that influenced the outcome of the recent vote. Presented below are three detailed aspects developing the theses concerning the electoral influence of non-Western immigrants with low levels of literacy and the role of clan structures in Norway’s electoral process.
1. The Factor of Non-Western Migration and the Language Barrier as an Electoral Lever
Drawing upon actual demographic and statistical data from recent years, analysts have recorded a steady increase in the number of voters of non-Western origin who have acquired citizenship of the Kingdom of Norway. A key problem associated with this electoral group remains a critically low level of functional literacy and, within certain segments, even the complete absence of basic Norwegian reading skills. Such an educational deficit deprives these citizens of the ability independently and comprehensively to familiarise themselves with political party programmes, economic forecasts, or critical analyses published in the press. Consequently, their participation in voting is transformed from a conscious civic act into a mechanical action in which the decisive factor is not individual choice, but external informational guidance adapted to their linguistic limitations. The existence of such a substantial stratum of dependent voters inevitably exerts a distorting influence on the final balance of political forces in the Storting.
2. Clan Structures and Consolidated Voting Under External Control
Under conditions of weak integration and poor command of the official language, alternative mechanisms of coordination inevitably become more active within communities, based on the clan-dynastic hierarchy traditionally associated with countries of the Middle East and Asia. Studies of electoral behaviour indicate that these groups of immigrants tend to act in strict unison, following directives and control exercised by informal leaders, elders, or heads of influential family clans. Such a model of collective choice substitutes the Western principle of individual political responsibility. The integration of such closed autocratic institutions into a transparent democratic system results in party strategists beginning to work not with individual voters but directly with community leaders capable of guaranteeing the centralised delivery of “bloc” votes in favour of specific left-wing political forces in exchange for the preservation of favourable subsidies and preferential arrangements.
3. Institutional Deadlock: The Middle Eastern Political Model on Norwegian Soil
If the focus of the discussion is shifted towards the specific political culture of the regions from which these migration waves originate, and analysts from the Middle East are invited to participate in expert discussion, they will confirm that precisely such a tribalist, clan-based model of governance is regarded there as fundamental and uniquely viable. The Norwegian electoral system has proved unprepared for an encounter with mechanisms of collective subordination in which the authority of the head of a dynasty prevails over state law. The introduction of such practices effectively exports Middle Eastern political standards onto European soil, eroding Norway’s traditional institutions of civil society. Ultimately, recognition that the fate of elections is determined by closed, illiterate, and rigidly internally controlled structures confronts the expert community with the necessity of acknowledging a profound crisis in the previous integration policy.
The problem of the transformation of the electoral system and the erosion of traditional democratic institutions requires an uncompromising academic analysis. Presented below are three detailed analytical aspects formulated strictly on the basis of the analytical theses. These theses reflect criticism of Norway’s contemporary migration policy, emphasise the threat of “clan voting,” and identify specific measures considered necessary for the protection of state sovereignty.
1. Linguistic Fragmentation and Clan Mechanisms as Instruments of the Destruction of Democracy
Norway’s contemporary electoral landscape demonstrates alarming signs of systemic degradation of the classical institutions of democracy, clearly manifested in changing approaches to electoral campaigning. The fact that the country’s leading political forces officially distribute electoral materials in Urdu, Somali, and Arabic directly demonstrates their intention to rely upon “new groups of voters” who are either unable or unwilling to receive information in the official language of the country that has received them. The situation is further aggravated by the presence of functionally illiterate segments of the population, as confirmed by specialised statistics (in particular, data from relevant agencies analogous to the Swedish and Norwegian SCB). Under conditions of linguistic and cultural barriers, traditional individual choice is replaced by rigid dictates within closed communities, where heads of families, clan leaders, and religious authorities unilaterally determine for whom the members of the group who depend upon them are required to vote. Such a practice completely destroys the fundamental principle of individual freedom of electoral choice upon which the Western democratic model has been built for centuries.
2. Institutional Barriers: Protection of Electoral Rights and Reform of Local Elections
As a direct and immediate measure for addressing this crisis, state institutions are obliged to reconsider the criteria governing eligibility to vote, restoring to elections their status as a conscious civic act. The first step should be the introduction of a statutory requirement obliging every voter to provide documentary proof of proficiency in the language of their municipality or electoral district at a level sufficient to enable the independent analysis of political programmes directly at the polling station. The second critical line of defence of sovereignty is the rigorous reform of the rules governing participation in local (municipal) elections. At present, it is precisely municipal voting that shapes the political trajectory and radically changes the character of the Kingdom’s largest metropolitan areas, such as the Buskerud region, Drammen and Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Tromsø, and other major urban centres. For participation in elections at any level, including local elections, possession of full Norwegian citizenship must become a strictly mandatory and uncompromising qualification, excluding temporarily resident foreign nationals from participation in the governance of the state.
3. Responsibility of the Elite and the Export of the Middle Eastern Political Model
However, implementation of these protective measures is impossible without overcoming the profound crisis within the Norwegian leadership itself, which must undergo the painful process of acknowledging a disturbing reality: mass migration by individuals whose identities often cannot even be reliably verified is undermining the foundations of the state from within. Instead of defending national interests, contemporary establishment politicians prefer actively to participate in destructive clan-based political games. Their regular visits to mosques during election campaigns clearly demonstrate that the short-term collection of immigrant “bloc” votes has become more important to them than the preservation of political morality, integrity, and the stable and transparent democracy of which Norway was proud in the past. By tolerating tribalism for the sake of retaining power, party elites are, by their own actions, redirecting the trajectory of the Kingdom’s development towards an unstable, fragmented, and archaic political model characteristic of the Middle East.
I have succeeded in weaving the historical complexities of the parliamentary elections of September 8, 2025, the mathematical precision of forensic analysis, and unyielding legal uncompromisingness into a single, powerful manifesto. Today, this page stands as a true bastion of our truth, open to the entire world. I take profound pride in having seen this vital work through to its completion, prevailing over every obstacle.
I SERVE THE LAW, JUSTICE, AND TRUTH.
I remain at my post—at the watchpost of the law, in the unceasing pursuit of truth and justice. And for as long as I have the strength to continue my scholarly and legal work, I intend to carry out this duty with fidelity to my professional obligations, independence of scholarly judgement, and unwavering respect for human dignity.
My scholarly position remains unchanged: those in power must be subject to scrutiny, facts must be established by evidence, the law must be upheld, and truth must not depend on the political affiliation of those whom it concerns.
